Description

For sale, the vintage Gegr 1849 Uhlenhorst decorative ceramic tile wall plaque of old Nuremburg that is shown in the pictures. This tile measures about 3 3/4" x 7 3/4". The back is stamped with the Gegr 1849 Uhlenhorst logo. It is also embossed "Made in W. Germany" below an a older logo for Villeroy Boch suggesting that it was the maker of just the tile. There is also writing in ink on the back that reads "Nuremburg July 18, 1984" as shown in picture #9. The remains of a label are shown in picture #10. There is an attached hanger as shown in the pictures. This tile is in good+ condition. There is a small chip along the left edge that is shown in picture #5 and there is a tiny chip on the upper right corner as shown in picture #6. There are no other chips, no cracks and no scratches.
