Welcome to House of Whispering Firs Handmade Decorative Maple Leaf Ceramic Tiles Item: Set of 5 tiles (3 large, 2 small) Sizes: (Remember, these are handmade and sizes will vary a little): Largest: 4" x 4", Smallest: 3" x 3" x 1/8" Thick Handcrafted in our House of Whispering Firs studio, these decorative, autumn designed tiles are first hand formed from clay to resemble curling maple leaves, newly fallen from the tree. They are then kiln fired, individually glazed and fired again for durability. The set consists of 2 large tiles (4" x 4"), 1 large leaf with "propeller" seed pod, and two small leaves (3" x 3") These tiles have as many uses as you have imagination. They are wonderful autumn decorations, (around your pumpkins, on your holiday table) or, very functional (chop stick and knife rests, card holders) or, for serving those extremely delicious hors d'oeuvres ( picture a large bacon wrapped sea scallop with parsley, garlic butter drizzling)............ \ If you are considering using them in a mosaic or other art form, remember, they are not flat. If you need flat tiles, we can do, just let us know. Same price, allow 2 weeks. All of our mosaics and tiles are suitable for outdoor use with care. They should not be left outdoors, exposed to the elements, in areas of the country that experience harsh winter weather with ice, snow and / or repeated freezing and thawing conditions.
